Good Afternoon!
On Thursday, July 30th, a Demonstration of Learning Ceremony was held in the Ware Junior Senior
High School library, showcasing students’ efforts throughout the course of the High School Summer Academy program. A montage of student photographs was shown, featuring the project-based outings to Morse Hill in Shutesbury. It was great to see so many parents and family members in attendance for the ceremony! Many of the skills that students developed this summer will serve them well in the fall such as goal-setting and working collaboratively with others.
A special thank you to the Director of Grants and Accountability Ms. Yardley for securing the grant funding that made this experience possible for students. We are all proud of what the students accomplished as individuals and teams this summer. Enjoy the rest of summer vacation!
In other news, the custodial staff continues to work feverishly to prepare the building for opening day, and interviews are underway to fill vacant positions.
